- Travelers coming from Bangalore, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Pune or Mumbai, will be given Air Tickets of Early departure (between 5 a.m to 7 a.m) or a Day before (20th Feb 2020) from Their city to Delhi. Bhutan Flight is at 11 a.m from Delhi.
- If the Air ticket from Bangalore/ Chennai/ Pune/ Mumbai/ Ahmedabad is scheduled on 20th Feb 2020 then the Hotel At Delhi and food will be complimentary from Bunk Tribe (BT)

Arrive at Paro Airport and drive to Thimphu via a scenic route that traverses beautiful valleys and verdant hills. Visit Tachongang Lhakhang en-route to Thimphu, a stopover for a walk crossing Paro River or enjoy the views from the roadside depending on your arrival time.

Chuzom meeting point of two rivers (Thimphu & Paro) this is tri-junction of highway leading to Thimphu, Paro, and Phuentsholing into three directions.

If time permits explore Thimphu city. Walking through the city gives you immense joys and understanding of the modern cities. A good option for imported garments and local souvenir shopping, beside handicrafts.

Best place to see a mixed style of personalities taking the street walk in Thimphu- the only city in the world without traffic lights.

Day – 2: 20th May 2020

Post breakfast, We will start our day for Thimphu Sightseeing. It’s is bustling little city is the main center of commerce, religion, and government in the country. Thimphu is the most modern city in Bhutan with an abundance of restaurants, internet cafes, nightclubs, and shopping centers. However, it still retains its’ cultural identity and values amidst the signs of modernization. Today we will visit:

Buddha Dordenma Statue- it’s is located atop a hill in Kuenselphodrang Nature Park and overlooks the Southern entrance to Thimphu Valley. This massive statue of Shakyamuni measures in at a height of 51.5 m, making it one of the largest statues of Buddha in the world. The statue is made of bronze and is gilded in gold. 125,000 smaller Buddha statues have been placed within the Buddha Dordenma statue.

National Memorial Chorten- It is located close to the center of Thimphu city and is one of its most iconic monuments. Visitors will find elderly Bhutanese people circumambulating the Chorten throughout the day. The National Memorial Chorten was built in memory of Third Druk Gyalpo and is dedicated to World Peace.

Folk Heritage Museum-This museum was established in 2001 and provides visitors and tourists with fascinating insights into the Bhutanese material culture and way of life.

National Library- The National Library was established in 1967 to preserve ancient Dzongkha and Tibetan texts.

Authentic Bhutanese Crafts Bazaar- Bhutan’s first-ever Craft Bazaar is now open in Bhutan’s capital Thimphu. It showcases a wide range of authentic Bhutan-made art and craft products with a reasonable price range.

Witnessing Archery Match- Archery is the national game of Bhutan, it is amazing to see Bhutanese archers hit dozens on the target from a 145 meters range.

Day – 3: 21st May 2020

This morning after breakfast, check out of the hotel and We will start our journey towards Punakha- a very warm valley. Punakha Valley is one of Bhutan’s most scenic destinations, is the perfect place to awaken the nature lover. Take in the splendid views of the Himalayas, listen to the sounds of the Mo Chhu and Po Chhu rivers that simply soak up the serene beauty of this gorgeous valley.

Dochula- The pass is a popular location as it offers a stunning 360-degree panoramic view of the Himalayan mountain range. The view is especially scenic on clear winter days with snowcapped mountains forming a majestic backdrop to the tranquility of the 108 chortens gracing the mountain pass.

Punakha Dzong- Built-in 1637 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. The Dzong was named Druk Pungthang Dechen Phodrang (Palace of Great Happiness). Punakha is still the winter residence of the Je-Khenpo religious head of Bhutan. King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck convened the first National Assembly here in 1952.

Day – 4: 22nd May 2020

In Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten- It is 45 minutes uphill hike from the base of the hill through rice fields. Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten sits majestically on a ridge above Punakha valley with an amazing view of the countryside and the hills below. It is one of the finest examples of Bhutanese architecture.

Suspension Bridge- The Punakha Suspension Bridge is located very much near to the Punakha Dzong and is the longest suspension bridge in Bhutan built above the Po Chu river. Overnight in Punakha.
Day – 5: 23rd May 2020

Post breakfast, drive to Paro. This picturesque region in the kingdom is covered in fertile rice fields and has a beautiful, crystalline river meandering down the valley. Paro has more historical sites, high-end tourist resort, and many souvenir shops for shopping

Chimi Lhakhang- The Temple, also known as “The Temple of Fertility” was built by Lama Drukpa Kuenley, “The Devine Mad Man”.

Riverside- We will stop by the riverside and enjoy, a good place to take a picture

Paro Town- Later you can stroll around tiny Paro town and peep into local restaurant and handicraft stores

Enjoy Outdoor Activities- You get to enjoy wearing Bhutanese dress, enjoy shooting archery and playing dart. Evening at leisure & Overnight in Paro, altitude 2200m.
Day – 6: 24th May 2020

Today, hike to “The Tiger’s Nest”. No matter how many pictures you have seen of this legendary site, the real thing will take your breath away.

The trail winds through a beautiful forest and offers great views of the valley below. It culminates at a lookout point opposite the monastery.
-
According to the legend, Guru Rinpoche manifested here as wrathful Dorje Drolo to subdue an evil spirit. Upon reaching Tiger’s Nest, learn more about the mythology of the site and revel in the scenery.

Day – 7: 25th May 2020
